"...To God, alive
and combative,
to the children
of the world
who die of hunger.
That their complaint be always my song,
their tears,
these notes
of music which fall
to the ground
and make it tremble... "

Ah Yuri... In the boxes of the Elysée-Montmartre (Paris, France) in 1995, you spoke to HOT SALSA about your great project of an exceptional record, your eyes filled with light and your crazy desire to make it.

At the time, only salsa's aficionados knew you, already recognizing that you were a singer out of the common run for they appreciated you on stage... then one awaited the continuation.

Today the little miracle is there: your CD
is perfect, Télérama (a well-known French magazine about television and spectacles) quotes it like " an exceptional event ", and the French public opened its arms to you.

Your confrontation with the greatest (" Ne me quitte pas"-"If you go away ", by Jacques Brel) is a rare pearl, and the remainder of the record is first-rate quality. Even the CD cover is beautiful, pretty rare in salsa, where kitsch often rivals with mediocrity...

Keep on Yuri, you are going straightforwardly ! Stay in France, and... "Do not go away" !
