CHARANGA
NUEVA France (Paris) Violins, flute, piano, bass, tumbas, timbales : 8 musicians revalorize the charanga style, born of the imported French quadrille in Cuba in the 19th century. It is in the 50's that the charanga style allured the whole world, with the advent of the famous cha cha cha. Charanga Nueva feeds with these roots, and nourishes them with its own compositions and arrangements. |
